The bacon grease as fat also helped the eggs brown really well and added just a little bacon flavor. The Redi-Whip made the eggs a bit lighter, and the sugar in it helped the eggs brown nicely, the cheese made the eggs foldable, adding some gooyness. It turned out SUPER GOOD, and would be a GREAT way to make an omelette. Unrelated thoughts: yesterday I was scrambling some eggs and had the thought of squirting some Redi-Whip into it (sadly, about as wild-and-crazy as my life gets anymore) and adding a bit of shredded cheese to the eggs, scramble it all up and fry it using bacon grease.
